Not only are the ergonomically correct, but they cut branches like butter. I honestly have never had garden shears this well made, which also work this well. These are a total score. Amazon sells them for less than $40 (http://www.amazon.com/Haus-Garten-Pruning-Shears-Titanium/dp/B00CD2WB3C/), which makes me think I might just buy another pair as a gift for a gardener friend of mine.
